This privacy policy describes how MetalWake ("the app", "we", "our") handles information when you use it. MetalWake is published by Crivid AS, organisation number 937 567 308, registered in Norway.
Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
When the app crashes, an automatic report is sent. This includes: the line of code where the crash happened, device model and Android version, app version, and a randomly generated installation ID — not linked to your name, email, phone number, or Google account.
Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics)
The app sends anonymous usage events: app opened, new session started, which screen is shown, and country code derived from IP address by Firebase. We do not collect alarm contents, track choices, alarm times, snooze frequency, or anything that identifies you personally.
The app requests: Notifications, Schedule exact alarm, Full-screen notifications, Vibration, Foreground service (media playback), Boot completed, and Internet (used only by Firebase).
We do not request: Microphone, Camera, Contacts, Location, Photos/media, Phone state, or Storage access.
Data is stored on Firebase servers operated by Google LLC. Crashlytics reports are retained for 90 days. Analytics events are retained for up to 14 months, then aggregated and anonymised.
MetalWake is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data that could identify a child.
If you are in the EEA, you have the right to request a copy of data we hold, request deletion, object to processing, or lodge a complaint with your local authority (Norway: Datatilsynet).
Crashlytics can be disabled by turning off "Send usage and diagnostic data" in your device settings. Firebase Analytics respects your device's "Limit ad tracking" setting. The app works fully offline — all features function without internet.
