This privacy policy describes how ReisePilot ("the app", "we", "our") handles information when you use it. ReisePilot is a travel-planning app published by Crivid AS, organisation number 937 567 308, registered in Norway.
Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
When the app crashes, an automatic report is sent to Firebase. This includes: the line of code where the crash occurred, device model and Android version, app version, and a randomly generated installation ID — not linked to your name, email, phone number, or Google account.
That crash report is the only information ReisePilot collects. The app has no user accounts, no usage analytics, no advertising, and no in-app purchases. ReisePilot is a one-time paid app — the purchase is handled entirely by Google Play, and we never receive your name, email, or payment details.

To provide live information, the app sends requests to the following services:
As a normal technical part of any internet request, these services — and the upstream providers we rely on (exchangerate-api.com for currency, the GDELT Project for news) — may log your IP address. We do not use it to identify you, and we store no such logs ourselves beyond standard, short-lived technical logging by our hosting provider (Cloudflare).

Crash reporting can be disabled by turning off "Send usage and diagnostic data" in your Android device settings. All core travel-planning features work offline without any data being sent.
Information in ReisePilot (currency, visa notes, vaccinations, emergency numbers, embassy details, costs, news and more) is advisory only and may be incomplete or out of date. Always confirm with official sources — such as regjeringen.no (Norwegian travel advice), the nearest embassy/consulate and relevant health authorities — before travelling. Crivid AS is not liable for loss or inconvenience arising from errors or omissions.
ReisePilot is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data that could identify a child.
If you are in the EEA, you have the right to request a copy of data we hold, request deletion, object to processing, or lodge a complaint with your local authority (in Norway: Datatilsynet). Because most data collected is anonymous and not linked to your identity, we may be unable to retrieve or delete it on an individual basis. Contact us at the address below with any concern.
