Crivid QR Scanner collects no personal data. Everything the app does happens entirely on your device. We have no servers, no analytics, no advertising, and no account system — and we never see your scans.
Nothing. The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to us or to any third party. There is no sign-in and no user tracking.
The camera is used solely to scan QR codes and barcodes. The camera feed is processed on your device in real time and is never recorded, saved, or uploaded.
If you scan a QR code from a photo, the selected image is read locally on your device to detect the code. The image is not copied, stored, or sent anywhere.
Your scan history is stored only on your device using local storage. It never leaves your phone. You can delete individual entries or clear the entire history at any time from within the app, and uninstalling the app removes it completely.
When you open a scanned link, your device's default browser handles it. When you share a result, your device's standard share sheet is used. These are actions you trigger; the app does not transmit anything on its own.
The app contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporting, and no third-party trackers. No network requests are made to Crivid or anyone else for data collection.
Because the app collects no data, it is safe for users of all ages.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
