This privacy policy describes how PokerEye ("the app", "we", "our") handles information when you use it. PokerEye is published by Crivid AS, organisation number 937 567 308, registered in Norway. The product website is pokereyetd.com.
Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics)
The app sends anonymous usage events: app opened, new session started, which screen is shown, whether the upgrade screen was viewed, whether a purchase or restore was completed, and country code derived from IP address by Firebase. Events are tied to a randomly generated installation ID — not linked to your name, email, phone number, or account. We do not collect tournament data, player names, blind structures, payouts, or anything that identifies you personally.
In-app purchases (Google Play / Apple App Store & RevenueCat)
If you buy the one-time Pro upgrade, the payment itself is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store — we never see your payment details. To verify and restore your purchase, the app uses RevenueCat, which processes the store purchase receipt together with a randomly generated anonymous app user ID. This ID is not linked to your name or email.
The app requests permissions necessary for its function as a Poker Tournament Director companion: Notifications, Wake lock (to keep the screen alive during a tournament), Vibration, and Internet (used only for anonymous analytics and purchase verification).
We do not request: Microphone, Camera, Contacts, Location, Photos/media, or Storage access.
Tournament data, player rosters, and clock settings are stored locally on your device. Analytics events are retained for up to 14 months, then aggregated and anonymised. Purchase records are kept for as long as needed to keep your Pro upgrade unlocked across devices and reinstalls.
PokerEye is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data that could identify a child.
If you are in the EEA, you have the right to request a copy of data we hold, request deletion, object to processing, or lodge a complaint with your local authority (Norway: Datatilsynet).
Firebase Analytics respects your device's "Limit ad tracking" setting. The app works fully offline — all tournament features function without internet.
