This policy explains how Crivid IPTV Player ("the app", "Crivid", "we") handles your information. The app is published by Crivid AS, organisation number 937 567 308, registered in Norway.
Crivid IPTV Player has no account and no sign-up, and we never receive your playlists, logins, favourites, or viewing choices (see "Your data stays on your device" below). The only data we receive is anonymous diagnostics through Google Firebase:
Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
When the app crashes, an automatic report is sent containing the line of code where it happened, your device model and Android version, the app version, and a randomly generated installation ID — not linked to your name, email, phone number, or Google account.
Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics)
The app sends anonymous usage events such as the app being opened, a new session starting, which screen is shown, and a country code derived from your IP address by Firebase. We do not collect your playlist contents, channel choices, logins, or anything that identifies you personally.
Purchase records (RevenueCat)
If you buy the optional one-time Pro upgrade, the purchase itself is handled by Google Play. To unlock Pro reliably across reinstalls, our billing partner RevenueCat receives the purchase receipt together with a randomly generated anonymous ID — again not linked to your name, email, or Google account. This record is kept for as long as you own Pro, because it is your proof of ownership; RevenueCat processes it solely on our behalf and does not use it for anything else. If you never buy Pro, nothing is sent to RevenueCat's servers beyond the anonymous ID used to check entitlement.
The app contains no advertising, and we do not sell or share data with marketing or advertising networks.
Everything you configure — playlist URLs, Xtream Codes or Stalker logins, media-server details, favourites, channel groups, and app settings — is stored only locally on your device. It is never uploaded to us. If you uninstall the app, this data is removed with it.
Any credentials you enter are kept on your device and are sent only to the server you entered them for, in order to log in to that service — the same way a web browser sends a password to a website. We never receive them.
The app is a media player. It connects only to the servers you configure, to retrieve your content, including:
We are not a party to these connections and do not see their contents. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that service's own terms and privacy policy.
The app does not request location, camera, microphone, or contacts access.
The diagnostic data above is stored on Google Firebase servers operated by Google LLC. Crashlytics crash reports are retained for 90 days; Analytics events are retained for up to 14 months and then aggregated and anonymised. Purchase records are stored by RevenueCat, Inc. for as long as your Pro purchase is active, since they are what proves your ownership. Your playlists, logins and settings are never sent to either — they stay on your device.
Crash and analytics reporting can be limited from your device settings (for example "Send usage and diagnostic data"), and Firebase Analytics respects your device's advertising/tracking limits. The app's core playback works fully offline once a playlist is loaded.
The app is a general-purpose media player and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data that could identify a child.
Crivid IPTV Player is a player only. It does not include or provide any channels, streams, or media. You supply your own legal playlist from a service you are authorised to use. Crivid does not endorse or facilitate access to any copyrighted content without the rights holder's permission.
If you are in the EEA, you have the right to request a copy of any data we hold, request its deletion, object to processing, or lodge a complaint with your local authority (in Norway: Datatilsynet). Because the diagnostics we collect are anonymous and not tied to your identity, we may be unable to single out your individual records, but the data is minimal and short-lived as described above. You can always contact us with any question.
