This privacy policy describes how ChristmasWake ("the app", "we", "our") handles information when you use it. ChristmasWake is published by Crivid AS, organisation number 937 567 308, registered in Norway.
Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
When the app crashes, an automatic report is sent. This includes: the line of code where the crash happened, device model and Android version, app version, and a randomly generated installation ID — not linked to your name, email, phone number, or Google account.
Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics)
The app sends anonymous usage events: app opened, new session started, which screen is shown, and country code derived from IP address by Firebase. Firebase Analytics may also use your device's advertising ID. We do not collect alarm contents, track choices, alarm times, snooze frequency, or anything that identifies you personally.
In-app purchases
ChristmasWake offers an optional one-time ChristmasWake Pro purchase, which removes all ads. All tracks and alarms are free without it. The purchase is processed by Google Play. RevenueCat verifies your purchase status across reinstalls and receives only your anonymous app user ID, the product token issued by Google Play, and the country your Play account is in. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or payment details.

Advertising
The free version of ChristmasWake shows banner ads served by Google AdMob, on the home screen and the alarm settings screen. Ads are never shown on the alarm, pre-alarm, or dismiss screens. Purchasing ChristmasWake Pro removes all ads.
To show ads, AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Google uses this to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure performance, and prevent fraud.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent with Google's consent form before any ad is requested. If you do not consent to personalised ads, you may still see non-personalised or limited ads. You can change your choice at any time in the app under About, Privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android's privacy settings.

The app requests: Notifications, Schedule exact alarm, Full-screen notifications, Vibration, Foreground service (media playback), Boot completed, Advertising ID, Internet (used only by Firebase, RevenueCat, and advertising), and Billing (required to offer the optional ChristmasWake Pro purchase).
We do not request: Microphone, Camera, Contacts, Location, Photos/media, Phone state, or Storage access.
Data is stored on Firebase servers operated by Google LLC. Crashlytics reports are retained for 90 days. Analytics events are retained for up to 14 months, then aggregated and anonymised. RevenueCat data is retained for as long as your purchase is valid.
ChristmasWake is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data that could identify a child. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
If you are in the EEA, you have the right to request a copy of data we hold, request deletion, object to processing, or lodge a complaint with your local authority (Norway: Datatilsynet). Because we collect only anonymous data, we typically do not hold any data linked to a specific person.
Crashlytics can be disabled by turning off "Send usage and diagnostic data" in your device settings. You can change your ad consent at any time in the app under About, Privacy choices, and reset or delete your advertising ID in Android's privacy settings. Buying ChristmasWake Pro removes all ads. Purchase verification only runs if you choose to buy ChristmasWake Pro. The alarms and all music work fully offline, no internet connection is required to wake up.
